BRITISH COLOURIST PAINTERSarah Muir Poland is an expressionist painter known for her distinctive use of colour and the intimacy of her scenes. She has built a following in the UK and internationally for her landscapes and portraits of women. She has exhibited at the Bankside Gallery, The Mall Gallery and in solo shows in London and Suffolk in additional to undertaking a number of commissions.Her work examines the relationship objects and people have to each other as defined by areas of saturated colour, her use of colour is instinctive and joyful.
